The FINANCIAL — According to the regional agricultural departments, as of September 1 Kazakh agrarians harvested grains throughout 3.263 mln ha, or 21.3% of the planned areas, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As of the reporting date, agrarians produced 5.1 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of over 2 times compared with the same date last year. The average yield totaled 1.56 t/ha (up 0.25 t/ha).
In particular, agrarians of Almaty oblast harvested 651.9 thsd tonnes of grains, West Kazakhstan oblast — 276.9 thsd tonnes, Jambyl oblast — 584.6 thsd tonnes, Kyzylorda oblast — 31.5 thsd tonnes, South Kazakhstan oblast — 419.2 thsd tonnes, East Kazakhstan oblast — 403.7 thsd tonnes, Pavlodar oblast – 170.9 thsd tonnes, Aktobe oblast – 192.9 thsd tonnes, Karaganda oblast — 71.8 thsd tonnes, Kostanay oblast — 523 thsd tonnes, North Kazakhstan oblast – 1.438 thsd tonnes, and Akmola oblast – 333.7 thsd tonnes, according to APK-Inform.
