The FINANCIAL — As of May 14, agrarians of Kazakhstan planted spring grains throughout the areas of 884.1 thsd ha, or 30.6% of the plan, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan on May 11.
In addition, 4 oblasts of the country already planted corn for grain throughout 88.5 thsd ha (65.07%), according to APK-Inform.
At the same time, Kyzylorda and Almaty oblasts continued planting rice: agrarians planted the grain throughout 56.5 thsd ha (62.2%).
Also, Kazakhstan planted oilseeds throughout 548 thsd ha (58.5%).
