The FINANCIAL — The seaport Aktau loads nearly 4 thsd tonnes of grains per day by big bags, announced the President of JSC National Company Aktau international sea trading port, Mikhail Yalbachev on November 30.
According to him, the port started using the method of grain loading by 10- and 20-tonne big bags since 2014. In particular, the existing grain terminal has the form of a granary, where are realized grain pouring operations from rail cars to the facility. Then grains come from the terminal to the conveyor belts, and then arrive to the vessel. But the terminal capacities are insufficient for transshipment of all grain volumes arriving to the port of Aktau. Therefore, the port also loads grain volumes outside the terminal, said M.Yalbachev.
According to the master of loading complex, Shakir Musayev, in one minute two cranes load 30 tonnes of grains in form of big bags to the vessel.
