The FINANCIAL — Kellogg Company announced on August 25 the election of Carolyn M. Tastad to its board of directors effective December 1, 2015.
Tastad is currently Group President, Procter & Gamble North America, responsible for the company’s business in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. The North American market is the company’s largest and most profitable region, representing 40 percent of P&G’s total revenues, according to Kellogg Company.
Tastad’s extensive 30-year career in consumer goods at P&G has included roles in general management, acquisition integration and customer business development. She has held responsibilities at both the global and regional levels, living in the U.S., Canada and Switzerland.
In addition to her membership on the Kellogg board of directors, Tastad also serves on the boards of the Grocery Manufacturers Association and the Cincinnati Museum Center. She previously served on the Wella AG corporate board and several nonprofit boards in Canada.
