The FINANCIAL — KLM have announced a sixth additional weekday service from Birmingham Airport to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol for summer 2016, providing an extra 32,100 seats for passengers.
Increased frequency on the popular route will further cement Birmingham’s position as one of KLM’s most successful departure points on its UK network, according to Birmingham Airport.
Warner Rootliep, General Manager of Air France-KLM UK & Ireland said:
“We are delighted to be able to announce a frequency increase on our Birmingham service to Amsterdam and hope it will be warmly welcomed by our passengers. We know how important connectivity is to the local Birmingham Community and we are always looking at ways we can help to enhance their travel options.”
William Pearson, Birmingham Airport’s Aviation Development Director, said:
“KLM and Sky Team are hugely important brands at Birmingham Airport and we are delighted that this expansion will give their Sky Priority members and the leisure traveller even more choice to the Netherlands.”
