The FINANCIAL — South Korea ran a trade surplus of $436 million in the first 20 days of December, according to data from the Korea Customs Service Monday, according to London Stock Exchange.
South Korea's exports for the Dec. 1-20 period stood at $29.78 billion while imports totaled $29.35 billion, according to calculations based on the available data.
Trade data for the first 20 days of the month provide only a rough guide to South Korea's trade for the full month, as export volume tends to surge around the end of the month.
