The FINANCIAL — Kudos has scooped a £10m contract with Central Hall Westminster to provide catering and venue management services.
The five-year deal will see Kudos, part of the Crown Group, operate all commercial and retail food services at the venue, as well as conference and banqueting, extending a business relationship that began over 10 years ago.
Kudos managing director Jon Pryce said: "The extension is testament to the strength of the partnership between ourselves and the CHW team. Collectively, we have delivered some of the most truly innovative events in the industry, providing food and service to a level that is fitting of such a unique venue."
CHW can accommodate almost 2,500 people in its Great Hall, making it the largest central London conference and events venue. According to Caterer and Hotelkeeper, it also houses the public-facing Wesley's Cafe, as well as up to 22 meeting rooms with state-of-the-art technology.
Paul Southern, managing director at Central Hall Westminster, added: "I have worked with various parts of the Crown Group for 20 years in previous roles and I know what they are capable of delivering. Since my arrival at Central Hall in October, I have worked with Jon and his team at Kudos to deliver a quality offering at a competitive price and I am very happy with the results.
"We are pleased to say that, working with the Kudos team, we will continue to introduce new initiatives that will not only ensure that clients will continue to receive five-star standards, but they will also ensure that we remain competitive in what is a difficult financial climate."
