The FINANCIAL — As of September 25, Kyrgyzstan harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 567.6 thsd ha, or 88.4% of the plan, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Agrarians harvested 1.606 mln tonnes of grains (up 386.7 thsd tonnes compared with the same date in 2014), with the average yield of 2.83 t/ha (up 0.66 t/ha).
In particular, Kyrgyzstan harvested wheat throughout 293.6 thsd ha (98.7%), and produced 759.6 thsd tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 2.59 t/ha, which is significantly higher compared with the last year indices, according to APK-Inform.
Agrarians harvested barley throughout 172.7 thsd ha (98.7%), with the average yield of 2.29 t/ha. The produced volumes reached 395.3 thsd tonnes, as opposed to 200 thsd tonnes in 2014.
Also, Kyrgyz agrarians harvested 368.6 thsd tonnes of corn throughout 60.8 thsd ha (59.4%), with the average yield of 6.06 t/ha (up 0.21 t/ha). Agrarians harvested 64.7 thsd tonnes of pulses throughout the areas of 35.5 thsd ha.
And according to the Ministry of Agriculture, agrarians harvested oilseeds throughout 39.6 thsd ha (92.3%), and the produced volumes reached 44.8 thsd tonnes, the yield – 1.13 t/ha.
