The FINANCIAL — As of April 28, Kyrgyz agrarians planted spring grains throughout the areas of 187.4 thsd ha (64.8% of the plan), an increase of 0.4 thsd ha compared with the same date last year, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Melioration of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In particular, spring wheat areas reached 73.4 thsd ha (50.6%), and barley – 114 thsd ha (79.2%). A number of districts already completed planting the grain crops. Agrarians planted corn throughout 24.9 thsd ha, or 25.9% of the plan, oilseeds – 20.2 thsd ha (45.2%), and pulses – 1.5 thsd ha (2.5%), according to APK-Inform.
Also, agrarians provided additional fertilizing of winter grains throughout 107 thsd ha (59.3%).
