The FINANCIAL — Deloitte announce preliminary findings of report at London Business School's Global Leadership Summit 2009.
Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has on June 29 launched the preliminary findings of a report looking at those companies which will be in a winning position to capitalise on the turbulence created by the recent challenging markets.
This report also considers what features these companies will need to establish competitive advantage, particularly in light of recent evidence of strengthening in the UK and global economy.
Speaking at the Global Leadership Summit, John Connolly, Deloitte chief executive and senior partner, comments: "How companies act over the next 24 months will drive their performance for the next decade – difficult though it is, with so many near term priorities, now is the time to think beyond today's challenging markets.
"Unsurprisingly, as the recession unfolded, organisations inevitably focused on the short term – on actions to secure financing, and to manage cash and control costs. Many companies have now stabilised their business performance sufficiently to think about the future."
