The FINANCIAL — Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn expects that the parliament will endorse state budget for 2011 on December 23-24, he told a briefing.
Besides, Lytvyn said that on November 16, the parliament will consider the draft Tax Code in the second reading.
At the same time, he admitted that the Verkhovna Rada will continue work over that document on November 18.
Besides, the speaker said that the parliament is likely to introduce remarks and amendments into the approved document in compliance with article 131 of regulations and submit it for signing by President Viktor Yanukovych.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov expects that the Verkhovna Rada will approve the Tax Code before November 20.
The government intends to launch consideration of the state budget for 2011 on basis of the new Tax Code from December 1.
