The FINANCIAL — Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn does not see reasons to dismiss Vice Prime Minister for Economy Serhii Tihipko, he told the press.
He noted that the Verkhovna Rada administration has registered draft resolution on the dismissal of Tihipko.
The speaker did not disclose the name of deputy, who submitted the relevant proposition.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on July 5, Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction member Olha Bondar suggested that the parliament dismiss Vice Prime Minister for Economy Serhii Tihipko.
On March 11, the Verkhovna Rada approved the members of the Cabinet of Ministers.
On July 2, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Volodymyr Semynozhenko as vice prime minister for humanitarian issues.
The parliament endorsed draft resolution without preliminary discussion.
The author of the draft resolution was Olha Bondar.
