The FINANCIAL — People’s Party leader Volodymyr Lytyvn tasked its party Lugansk directorate to receive 15% of local population’s support.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, V.Lytvyn claimed this, speaking at the Oblast People’s Party Conference, which was held to hear reports and elect new officials at the weekend.
In his opinion, considering the situation in Ukraine, the BYuT rating will be falling, and the task of the People’s Party will be to “collect these moods”.
Analyzing the situation in the country, V.Lytvyn pointed out that, through all the years of the Ukrainian independence, the country has been in a permanent crisis. The process of re-writing laws “for somebody’s own needs” continues, and leading political forces are sorting out their relationships. He forecasts the peak of the struggle between the political forces will take place in May. In his opinion, the Party of Regions is weakly adapted to working in the opposition, while, to the contrary, the coalition behaves like a classical opposition – it is not able to adopt any decision, but merely distributes portfolios.
