The FINANCIAL — Marriott Rewards, the first and only hotel loyalty program to allow members to rollover Elite nights, has now made that benefit a permanent part of the program.
With Elite Rollover, members may carry over their Elite nights into the next year, allowing them to achieve or maintain their elite status faster and easier.
Elite Rollover is simple. Any nights earned in excess of the minimum Elite requirements are automatically applied to the following year’s status. As Marriott International, Inc. said, elite nights may be earned in several ways, including staying at any of Marriott Rewards participating hotels, hosting an event at a Marriott International hotel, through promotions or by signing up for one of Marriott Rewards Visa credit cards.
Marriott Rewards has three Elite levels – Silver (requires 10 nights per year), Gold (requires 50 nights per year) and Platinum (requires 75 nights per year). Elite level membership has many benefits including bonus points, Elite exclusive offers, dedicated Elite reservation line, priority late checkout and ultimate reservation guarantee.
Marriott Rewards is free to join and has no blackout dates* and members can earn and redeem points at more than 3,600 Marriott International hotels around the world and at Marriott Rewards’ luxury partner, The Ritz-Carlton. Members can also redeem points for frequent flyer miles, cruises, car rentals, merchandise and more.
Marriott Rewards has won the Freddie Award for “Best Hotel Rewards Program in the Americas” five years in a row and the 2011 and 2010 Frequent Travel Award for “Best Hotel Rewards Program.” It has been named best hotel rewards program by the readers of About.com, Business Traveler, Global Traveler, Executive Travel and BusinessWeek magazines.
