The FINANCIAL — The Association of MBAs (AMBA) has celebrated the longevity of Manchester Business School’s top MBA programme by awarding it a prestigious Milestone Award at this year’s Global Conference for Deans & Directors.
Proud to be associated with Manchester Business School’s “intensive, varied and complex programme”, AMBA was pleased to present the award to Global and MBA Director, Professor Elaine Ferneley at the event earlier this year, according to Manchester Business School.
The Milestone Award recognises Manchester Business School’s achievement as being one of the very first schools in the UK to offer the MBA programme. The Association of MBAs also noted that MBS is a permanent fixture on lists of the highest-ranking schools in the world and also praised the ‘Manchester Method MBA’.
In response to the fantastic results, Professor Elaine Ferneley said: “The Manchester Method focuses on group work, practice based learning and reflection. We don’t just give you the theory; we show you how to use it to get immediate results.”
AMBA also noted how Manchester’s unique practical approach produces highly employable MBAs who are critical, reflective thinkers that suit the rapidly changing world of business.
