The FINANCIAL — The Indian School of Business (ISB) on June 1 welcomed a diverse group of 25 executives from around 20 top Manufacturing companies, who have enrolled for the one-year Certificate Programme in Manufacturing and Operations Management (CPMOM).
These professionals represent companies including Essar Oilfield, Hero Motocorp, Ashok Leyland, Punj Llyod, Tata Motors, Cairn Energy, Forbes Marshal, Vardhaman, GM Faudler, Philips, Cap Gemini and Reliance Energy among others, according to ISB.
A formal ceremony was held at the ISB’s Mohali campus to mark the inauguration of the Programme. Madhav Lal, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, the Chief Guest, Ajit Rangnekar, Dean, ISB and Pradeep Singh, CEO Mohali Campus and Deputy Dean, ISB announced the formal inauguration of the Programme. CPMOM is being offered under the aegis of the Munjal Institute for Global Manufacturing in association with the Centre for Executive Education at ISB.
The Programme has been created to meet the increasing need for techno-business managers in the rapidly growing manufacturing sector. Targeted at mid level professionals and SME entrepreneurs, it aims to train them for a better understanding of global business opportunities, to learn best practices and implement them.
