The FINANCIAL — The Republic of Ireland will delegate trade representatives to Georgia in order to strengthen links between the private sectors of the countries – this is the statement by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Nino Javakhadze upon completion of the meeting with the members of the Parliamentary Delegation of Ireland.
The Delegation is on the official visit to Georgia and is led by the Chairperson of the Irish Seanad, Senator Denis O’Donovan.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Cherkezishvili also attended the meeting held at the Ministry. Prospects of cooperation between the two countries were the main topics of the conversation between the parties. Denis O’Donovan confirmed his expectations of opening the Embassy of Ireland in Georgia in the nearest future.
“I would like to congratulate you on the newly announced economic ranking and the achieved success which is of outmost international importance for you country” – the Chairperson of the Irish Seanad stated.
Parliamentary Delegation of Ireland is in Georgia within a 5-day official visit, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
