The FINANCIAL — On the sidelines of the 34th session of the UN Human Rights Council. Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze held a meeting with the Panamanian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister María Luisa Navarro.
The sides spoke about the importance of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and agreed to work towards further deepening of co-operation in the areas of mutual interest, according to MFA of Georgia.
The Ministers spoke about the common role of the two countries – that of a transit hub and expressed their interest in sharing with each other their experience in this regard. The Georgian Foreign Minister provided the Panamanian delegation with information regarding the existing economic and investment environment in Georgia, which may be of interest to the business community in Panama. The sides also spoke about the possibility of exchanging high-level visits.
