The FINANCIAL — On the sidelines of the Batumi International Conference, Georgian Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili held a meeting with Parliamentary State Secretary for the European Affairs of the Latvian Foreign Ministry Latvia Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica.
The sides discussed the agenda following the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga emphasizing the importance of the EU-Georgia visa dialogue and ongoing works in this direction. Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica reaffirmed Latvia’s support for Georgia in carrying out the Visa Liberalization Action Plan, according to MFA Georgia.
Tamar Beruchashvili congratulated Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica on Latvia’s successful presidency of the EU Council emphasizing Latvia’s particular efforts in supporting Georgia during the presidency as well as at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga.
