Melbourne Airport’s new domestic Terminal 4 was officially opened on 9 December by Federal Treasurer, The Hon. Scott Morrison MP with a plaque unveiling.

Quotes attributable to Mr Lyell Strambi, CEO Melbourne Airport:

“New services and increased capacity are critical to providing Victorians and travellers with more choice and convenience. Our strong global connections go hand-in-hand with Victoria’s status as host of global events including the upcoming Boxing Day Test and Australian Open.”

“We were thrilled to officially open our new Terminal 4 earlier this month and we’re looking forward to welcoming all the summer holiday makers over the coming weeks.”

“Holiday travel can sometimes be stressful so we recommend anyone travelling over the summer period to leave ample time to get to the airport. Above all, we hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday.”
