The FINANCIAL — Melbourne Airport achieved an increase of 10 per cent in international growth for November compared to the same period last year, to reach 728,212 international passengers.
There was solid international passenger growth from across all regions with increased capacity from Air China, China Eastern, China Southern and Philippine Airlines resulting in strong growth across Asia.
Melbourne Airport also welcomed the inaugural Scoot Airlines flight from Singapore at the beginning of November, according to Melbourne Airport.
Melbourne Airport’s new domestic Terminal 4 was officially opened on 9 December by Federal Treasurer, The Hon. Scott Morrison MP with a plaque unveiling.
