The FINANCIAL — Signing of the Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine and participants of the grain market was the result of rather significant preliminary work related to calculation of grain supply and demand balances in Ukraine, declared the President of Ukrainian Grain Association, Volodymyr Klymenko.
According to him, the need to balance the interests of all market participants is the major purpose of the reporting Memorandum. Thus, the government plans to ensure the country`s food security. In such case, the producers need to sell all produced grain volumes, and get their income. But traders are critically important to realize the foreign trade contracts. The reporting document takes into account the interests of all market participants, and provides the required opportunity to completely meet them.
Also, V.Klymenko stressed that forecastability of the market is the major advantage, achieved by the signed memorandum.
