The FINANCIAL — The Georgian Vice Premier, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Elmar Mammadyarov, within the framework of the special meeting of the GUAM Council of Foreign Ministers.
The sides took special note of the effective implementation of strategic transport and energy projects in Georgia expressing the satisfaction that the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway has moved to its final stage, according to MFA of Georgia.
Discussions during the meeting focused on important issues relating to bilateral relations and regional co-operation. The Ministers highlighted successful trade and economic relations between the two countires. However, it was emphasized that the full potential of this co-operation has yet to be realized.
