Mikheil Janelidze has met the Undersecretary of State for Economic Development of the Italian Republic

The FINANCIAL — The Georgian Vice Premier, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze held a meeting with Undersecretary of State for Economic Development of the Italian Republic Ivan Scalfarotto.

The sides discussed the results of the Italian delegation’s visit to Georgia. Representatives of the Italian companies making up the Italian delegation are satisfied with the meetings held in Georgia. According to Ivan Scalfarotto, there are all prerequisites for attracting investments to Georgia, according to MFA of Georgia.

Expressing his willingness to further contribute to the development of co-operation between the two countries, Mikheil Janelidze brought to the attention of his Italian counterpart the ongoing reforms and business environment in Georgia.

“We paid special attention to three areas: energy, infrastructure and agriculture products. It is clear that there is tremendous potential for the development of co-operation between the two countries in all areas” – Ivan Scalfarotto said.
