The FINANCIAL — Within the framework of his visit to Brussels the Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze has met with Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs.
The sides highly appraised the existing close relations between the two countries both in bilateral and multilateral, as well as in regional formats. Mikheil Janelidze thanked his Belgian counterpart for Belgium’s firm support for Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations and the reform course, according to MFA of Georgia.
Highlighting the opportunities of further deepening co-operation in the areas of infrastructure, energy and green technologies, the two ministers also spoke about the Belgian business delegation’s upcoming visit to Georgia.
Didier Reynders reaffirmed Belgium’s firm support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and expressed his interest in getting actively involved in the conflict resolution process.
