The FINANCIAL — Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze held a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei.
Vladimir Makei arrived in Georgia as part of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s official visit to Georgia, according to MFA of Georgia.
During the meeting, the sides spoke about co-operation in the political, economic and cultural-humanitarian areas taking special note of the increasing number of high- and highest level visits between the two countries.
The two ministers welcomed the signature of a number of documents within the framework of the Belarusian President’s visit. Special attention was paid to the agreement on visa-free travel of citizens between Georgia and the Republic of Belarus due to be signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries.
