The FINANCIAL — The Georgian Vice Premier, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze met with Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, on the sidelines of the 22nd General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
Discussions focused on excellent relations between Georgia and Turkey, ispecially in the areas of culture and tourism. Accoridng to Mikheil Janelidze, tourism represents one of the key areas of Georgian economy. The sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue co-operation within the UNWTO, according to MFA of Georgia.
The meeting with the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey was attended by the newly-elected UNWTO Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili, Head of the Georgian National Tourism dministration Giorgi Chogovadze andGeorgia’s Ambassador to China Davit Aptsiauri.
