The FINANCIAL — Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze held a meeting with Vice-Prime-Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze.
The sides discussed the results of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Brussels. High appraisal was given to the recognition of Georgia’s and Ukraine’s European choice and European aspirations. The importance of co-ordinated actions between the two countries on their European integration path was also highlighted. The Georgian Vice Prime Minister brought to the attention of his Ukrainian counterpart Georgia’s views on how to get closer to the EU.
Mikheil Janelidze and Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze paid special attention to the issue of strategic communication emphasizing the need to undertake joint efforts against anti-western propaganda and to raise public awareness about the EU and NATO, according to MFA of Georgia.
The sides also identified new areas of bilateral relatons between the two countries highly appraising the general dynamics of co-operation.
