The FINANCIAL — The National Bank of Ukraine has allowed Nadra bank, Kyiv bank, Finance and Credit Bank, Ukrprombank, Rodovid Bank, Ukrhazbank, and Imexbank to repay NBU's refinancing loans during seven years, the central bank said.
According to the report, the resolution envisions the prolongation of contracts on the allocation of refinancing loans for the period of seven years.
The NBU said that earlier, it had recommended that the Finance Ministry consider the recapitalization of the said banks at the expense of the state.
In compliance with the refinancing contracts, these seven banks will pay interest of NBU's discount rate + 0.5 percentage point.
The NBU did not disclose any information about the refinancing amounts granted to these banks.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on June 10, the Cabinet of Ministers endorsed the final decision on the recapitalization of Ukrhazbank, Kyiv bank and Rodovid Bank with the participation of the state.
The Finance and Credit Bank and Imexbank have terminated the negotiations with the state regarding their recapitalization counting on their own efforts.
The decision on possible recapitalization of Ukrprombank and Nadra bank has not been taken yet.
