The FINANCIAL — According to Civil Georgia, Irakli Iashvili of the New Rights Party, who was a lawmaker in the previous parliament, said on June 9 he was quitting politics.
He told journalists that he had been thinking of quitting the politics for over year already but did not do that before because of “heated political processes.” He also said that planed to go back to business.
Before joining the politics in 1999, Iashvili was a general director of Georgian Trans Expedition – a company involved in cargo transportation business.
