The FINANCIAL — WASHINGTON, D.C. – New Tours USA, Brooklyn, New York, a small business who has managed thousands of inbound tours of the USA over the past 20 years, has been approved for membership in the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), the USUBC executive committee announced today on behalf of the entire USUBC membership of over 165 companies and organizations who have business operations, investments or other development programs in Ukraine.
New Tours USA was founded in 1990 by Liliya and Michael Gelfand, Ukrainian citizens who immigrated to the USA from Kyiv, Ukraine in 1988. The firm has specialized for over 20 years in providing low-budget and selected VIP inbound tours in the USA and Canada for persons from Russia, Ukraine, other countries in the former Soviet Union as well as Russian speaking persons around the world. They also do tours in Ukrainian.
The firm has ten employees and has 30 experienced tour guides who work as contractors and hosts as many as 25,000 to 30,000 persons each year. They have had a close working relationship for many years with a large number of travel and tour agencies around the world.
New Tours USA reported to USUBC they were extremely busy this past USA Independence Day holiday weekend with many buses and groups going to Alaska, Florida, California and to other western states, and to eastern and western Canada. There were many persons from Ukraine on these tours.
MAJOR TOUR ROUTES IN USA AND CANADA
New Tours USA has four regular bus tours from NYC to Washington, D.C. and Florida every week and also has different routes which take visitors across the USA in the course of 15 to 18 days, starting points being NYC (with San Francisco as the final destination) or Los Angeles (with NYC as the final destination).
The tours can go to California, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and other places. Another popular route is “Hawaii: Islands, Cities, Volcanoes”. In addition to the USA, New Tours USA has tours of Canada and combined US-Canada tours, as well as destinations in Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

USUBC met Liliya and Michael Gelfand in Kyiv this spring at the large Ukrainian travel show. USUBC was introduced to the Gelfand's by the US Commercial Service in Kyiv.
