- The Plug in Hybrid is now more eco-friendly and powerful
- Mixed combustion of 1.3 liters per 100 km
The Volvo XC90 T8 is the 2022 model of the Swedish premium brand, now ready to view in the showroom of Volvo Car Sakartvelo.
Automotive giant Volvo, for which environmental care is a priority along with safety, is pushing for new Plug in Hybrid characteristics. When fully charged, the Volvo XC90 can cover up to 95 km instead of the previous 55.
The mechanism is simple:
- 6 hours required for 100% charging.
- When switched to “Pure Mode”, the vehicle consumes no fuel, leaving no traces of carbon.
- After 95 kilometers, the vehicle will not stop, but will shift to the internal combustion engine.
“Volvo XC90 T8 is the latest 2022 model, which only recently appeared on the world market, and Volvo Car Georgia was quick to snap it up,” says Gaga Kokhreidze, Director of Volvo Car Caucasus. “We aim not to deviate from our goal of offering our customers the latest models and services on time, tailored to their safety and comfort. The XC90 T8 is one of Volvo’s most eco-friendly models, fully in line with the Volvo concept, and taking even better care of the environment thanks to its impressive features. The enhanced engine, reflecting Scandinavian minimalistic style, has 462 horsepower, which means the two-ton vehicle is capable of accelerating in just five seconds!”
Volvo’s seven-seater family model is equipped with contemporary safety systems, has a 360-degree parking camera, and high quality air purification technology.
According to Volvo’s future strategy, half of the vehicles sold by 2025 will be Plug in Hybrid, while the other half will be fully electric. From 2030, the Swedish brand intends to produce only electric models.
