The FINANCIAL — Now part of Sony Corporation, Sony Mobile Communications will showcase its connected entertainment experiences to operators and consumers – in its first appearance at the world’s largest mobile industry gathering, Mobile World Congress.
According to Sony Mobile Communications, attendees of the show will experience how Sony enables consumers to enjoy connected entertainment experiences across the smartphone, TV, laptop and tablet at the Sony Mobile Communications booth in Hall 6, Booth 6E01.
Bert Nordberg, President & CEO, Sony Mobile Communications said, “Now, as part of the Sony group, we are in an even stronger position to bring connected entertainment experiences to consumers around the world, and to bring these experiences to market even faster. Only Sony can bring together electronics, networked services, connected devices and content, and the Xperia smartphone is a cornerstone to enjoy entertainment in this connected world.”
At the show, Sony Mobile Communications is demonstrating the new Xperia NXT series – next generation smartphones from Sony, including the flagship Xperia S and the new additions Xperia P and Xperia U. These new Xperia smartphones combine stand-out design and superior entertainment technology with the powerful performance consumers would expect from a Sony smartphone.
The Xperia NXT series also provides access to the Sony Entertainment Network, giving consumers a comprehensive content and services ecosystem with unrivalled entertainment possibilities and allowing them to share and enjoy content across multiple devices.
