Nino Javakhadze Delivered Speech at New Silk Road Development Symposium

The FINANCIAL — Nino Javakhadze, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, delivered a speech at the New Silk Road Development Symposium held in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China.

“We have signed a Free Trade Agreement shortly before and, I believe, it will become affective by the end of the year. At the same time, we support the New Silk Road initiative of the Chinese Government from the very beginning. At this basis, we are keen on strengthening our relations with the People’s Republic of China” – Nino Javakhadze stated.

The Deputy Minister noted that the Silk Road is a global initiative and implies the strengthening cooperation between countries located along the Silk Road. “Silk Road means the implementation of the joint projects, the strengthening of the trade, attracting of more investments and enhancing the economic cooperation in general” – Nino Javakhadze noted.
