The FINANCIAL — Nissan Group in the U.S. announced total sales for November 2017 of 135,985 units, an increase of 18.1 percent over the previous year. This marks a November record. INFINITI USA reported sales of 13,026 luxury automobiles in November, an increase of 7.5%.
In Canada, Nissan Group announced total Canadian sales of 11,391 units for November 2017, an increase of 6.7% and a best November ever. INFINITI reported November sales of 1,082 vehicles in Canada, a decrease of 4.2% versus the previous year. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 5.6%, according to Nissan.
In China, Nissan and the company’s passenger vehicle and light commercial vehicle businesses in China each posted double-digit sales growth in the country in November, as well as for the first 11 months of 2017. Last month’s sales by Nissan and DFL-PV (including Dongfeng Nissan and Dongfeng Venucia) rose 21.8% from a year earlier to 165,384 vehicles and 21% from a year earlier to 136,656 vehicles, respectively. Nissan’s light commercial vehicle business, including Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. (DFAC) and Zhengzhou Nissan (ZNA), boosted sales in November by 27.7% to 24,120.
