The FINANCIAL — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced on December 9 senior management changes in the global marketing and sales organization.
Effective January 1, Leon Dorssers, currently vice president of Dealer Network Development of Nissan North America, will be promoted to corporate vice president of Nissan Motor Company, and assume the global responsibilities of strengthening the dealer network development in each region, identifying new retail opportunities, and sharing best practices of customer experience network across the company. Mr. Dorssers will report directly to Daniele Schillaci executive vice president, global marketing and sales, according to Nissan.
“Leon brings a wealth of experience in development of the dealer network in Nissan North America that can be shared across the regions. I am counting on him to propel the organization forward in providing the ideal customer experience at our dealer showrooms”, said Carlos Ghosn, president and CEO.
The changes in the organization are to ensure that there is stronger customer focus and the company capitalizes on all opportunities to drive revenue performance. The core capabilities of the dealer network team are essential for a sustainable long-term growth.
