The FINANCIAL — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd subsidiary SNN Tools & Dies Co., Ltd., a stamping die and assembly equipment maker in Thailand, today received a Factory Management Prize from within the Good Factory Award 2015 organized by the Japan Management Association.
SNN Tools & Dies Co., Ltd. supplies automotive parts to the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The company received the award in recognition of its thorough policy management based on the Nissan Way, the establishment of management to improve technological capability and productivity toward Nissan’s mid-term business plan (Nissan Power 88), as well as the establishment of an educational and training system to further motivate employees, according to Nissan Motor Corporation.
The Good Factory Award focuses on factory reform activities carried out by Japanese companies to improve productivity and quality at production sites in Asia. It aims to honor sites for their processes, achievements, on-site know-how, worker awareness and contribution to society. The award promotes the wide introduction of best practices to contribute to the development of the manufacturing industry and its further structural improvement.
