The FINANCIAL — According to online magazine Civil Georgia, Christian Strohal, director of the OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), launched his visit to Georgia on March 10.
He has already met with Parliamentary Chairperson, Nino Burjanadze.
ODIHR has received an invitation from the Georgian authorities to observe the upcoming parliamentary elections this May. ODIHR plans to deploy a standard long-term observer mission several weeks ahead of polling day.
