Official Level Of Unemployment In December Up By 0.1 Percentage Point To 1.9%

The FINANCIAL — In December, the official level of unemployment grew by 0.1 percentage point to 1.9%, the State Statistics Committee said.

The committee said that as of January 1, the State employment service of Ukraine registered 0.532 million of unemployed people.

As of December 1, the service registered 0.512 million of unemployed people.

The number of unemployed people who obtained state aid in December was 408,600 and the average aid was UAH 655.56.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in November, the official unemployment level remained at 1.8%.
