The FINANCIAL — Total retail deposit portfolio of TBC Bank has increased and exceeded 1 billion GEL. The Bank said that the number of deposits increased significantly thanks to the interactive campaigns implemented on the internet recently.
Last week a winner of the second intellectual game Win 20,000 was revealed. The game, which started on 15 September, was active for the last two months. New depositors of TBC Bank were periodically given questions which they could answer at any given moment.
The new promo campaign’s prize was introduced to customers by a Georgian artist with the fictional name Mr. Edmund Abashidze; a charismatic person, he was the main hero of TBC’s previous game of deposits – Find 10,000. According to Abashidze, TBC Bank has already started working on the next games which will be ready in the near future.
“During the last intellectual game, the size of our deposits increased by 50,000,000 GEL,” said Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, General Director of TBC Bank.
“We have just revealed the winner of our latest game. Irma Batiashvili won the game and today received the prize – 20,000 USD – from Edmund Abashidze. The most important fact is that during these games the deposits of physical persons very much increased. It is the biggest volume of deposits on the Georgian market. I want to thank all of the depositors of TBC Bank who have opened deposits at our bank,” Butskhrikidze said.
“We have an offer for our clients. The Bank decided to continue a campaign of +1% and if they open deposits by December 31 they will get an additional +1% on their term and term+ deposits,” Butskhrikidze said.
“According to the results of the successful campaign we decided to continue +1% on deposits. It will be a New Year gift for those depositors who didn’t yet manage to open deposits. At this stage our games will not continue but we promise many novelties and interesting campaigns for the year 2012,” said Nino Masurashvili, Deputy General Director of TBC Bank.
TBC Bank decided to give a reward not only to the winner of the game, but also to the person who had the second best result. “There was only a 26 second difference between the winner and the one in second place, so we decided to give a financial prize to this person as well,” representatives of the Bank explained.
“I am very happy that TBC Bank gave me the opportunity to be involved in mind game and win the prize. Winning this game wasn’t easy. There were many hard questions that I had to answer and I had many competitors also taking part in the game. It’s a great initiative offered by TBC Bank and I want to sincerely thank the company. TBC is a bank that really cares about its clients,” Batiashvili commented to the press.
“I am very happy that another of our game’s winners has been revealed today. The first game – Find 10,000, was very successful and people got very involved in it. According to the high demand we saw, we started working on the second mind game project. This time the amount of money was doubled, the game became more challenging and was based on a quiz principle. The second game has appeared to be more successful and we will continue working on other games in the future which will differ from previous games and will be even more interesting,” Edmund Abashidze told The FINANCIAL.
