The FINANCIAL — Aston is placed 17th in the world by largest ever QS Distance Online MBA Rankings released on February 23.
Aston’s triple-accredited MBA receives yet another accolade today, with its online MBA ranked amongst the top online MBAs in the world.
QS Quacquarelli Symonds, higher and business education analysts, have said this year’s edition of their Distance Online MBA Rankings are their most comprehensive yet, with thirty online MBAs being ranked, according to Aston Business School.
The aim of the QS Distance Online MBA Rankings is to provide learners with the detailed information necessary to help them make optimal educational and career decisions. The methodology comprises eighteen indicators across six key areas, including the employability of graduates from each programme, as well as student quality, faculty and teaching.
Jason Evans, Course Director for the Aston Online MBA, said:
“An increasing number of students today are looking for a quality MBA programme that will enable them to balance study with the demands of their career. At Aston, we recognise that need and work hard to ensure our online programme offers a quality experience. It is fantastic to know that our Online MBA is being recognised in external rankings, and particularly pleasing that Aston scored an impressive 97% in the QS rankings for the quality of our faculty and teaching.”
This news comes just a few weeks after the publication of CEO Magazine’s 2016 Global MBA Rankings which ranked Aston Business School tenth in the world for the Online MBA, and one of only six UK business schools to be ranked tier one for the full-time MBA.
The Aston MBA is also ranked 38th in Europe according to the QS Global 200 Business Schools report, where Schools are ranked on the basis of the employability of MBA graduates. The data is taken from 5,669 actively hiring international MBA recruiters and 7,187 academics.
