The FINANCIAL — According to Civil Georgia, a group of ambassadors from OSCE-member states based in Vienna are paying visit to Georgia on July 7-9.
The 27-member delegation met with Georgian Foreign Minister, Eka Tkeshelashvili. Meetings with other officials, as well as with representatives of the opposition parties are also planned, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
The delegation will also visit Tskhinvali and hold talks with the breakaway region’s authorities.
On July 7-9 Danish Foreign Minister Stig Møller will also pay a visit to Georgia. After talks with the Georgian leadership the Danish Foreign Minister will visit Sokhumi on July 8. Talks with Abkhaz leader, Sergey Bagapsh, as well as with breakaway region’s foreign minister Sergey Shamba and secretary of national security council Stanislav Lakoba are planned, according to the Abkhaz news agency, Apsnipress.
