The FINANCIAL — Living or doing business in Tbilisi? Discover the new universe of well-being in the Radisson SAS Iveria Hotel by escaping from the daily stress and taking a breath of energy from absolute well-being and comfort provided by our Spa and Fitness centre. The Radisson Spa is now open for everyone who wants to experience real relaxation.
From the moment you enter, you are swept into peace and quiet where your spirit is restored and your energy is revitalized. This relaxing, nurturing environment serves to rejuvenate and de-stress the body, mind, and spirit.
Before entering the massage room you will feel as tense as usual but then in the modern designed massage room you are quite ready to leave all that stress at the door.
The process of a massage is fascinating, while covering your eyes you appear in a different world, completely forgetting about the problems and hard working day waiting for you outside.
The spa is introduced by Anne Semonin Paris, a pioneer in combining trace elements and essential oils. Combining exclusive and traditional methods, Anne Semonin offers a wide range of specific targeted treatments, and constantly designs new protocols so as to offer personalized treatment menus.
“We have a growing SPA community already. We offer different Membership packages to our consumers. Our memberships are exclusive and limited in number. After reaching the maximum level of members we stop taking memberships and start a waiting list. Our Spa centre, encompassing 1,600 sq meters with 9 treatment rooms, a warming solarium experience, aromatic steam baths, Finnish saunas, indoor infinity pool and a Spa Juice Bar. Spread over two top floors and including a Spa “Oxygen” bar, the Spa and Fitness Centre promises to soothe, relax and rejuvenate,” Nicolay Dimitrov, Radisson SAS Iveria Hotel Spa Director, told The FINANCIAL.
According to Dimitrov, at the moment their main target is to not make their spa centre overcrowded, because they are trying to make customers feel relaxed.
“We are quite content with the service that we offer our guests at the moment, currently we have 100% guest satisfaction,” Dimitrov says.
“It’s the first full spa centre in Tbilisi. You can’t compare it to any others, my main concern is that the people at the moment don’t know that this place is open for the public and is available for everyone. It’s a new kind of thing and people don’t know that it has been opened because they don’t have much information about our Spa yet. Our spa centre is not only for hotel guests and members, but for everyone who wants to get a relaxing experience,” Dimirov explains.
“We share our charge, if you have one relaxing massage then you are entitled to one day Spa membership free of charge, meaning you can use the whole facility for one full day after or before your Spa treatment on a complimentary basis.”Dimitrov says.
According to the Spa Director, they are open from 6 o’clock in the morning to 10 in the evening every day. The busiest periods for them are Sunday and Saturday evenings, so as the Director of the Spa explains if you want to be very calm and really relax its best to come during the weekdays.
The Spa centre has different types of membership cards and as Nicolay Dimitrov says they offer Gold and Silver Memberships Cards to their clients.
“Right now the most demanded is the Gold Membership which allows you to come anytime you want, including Saturday and Sunday evenings. The Silver Membership allows you to come from Monday to Friday, weekdays from 6 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon only. We have such a type of schedule for membership cards just to balance the demand, because sometimes you may have lots of people coming in on Sundays and Saturdays and our main target is to make our clients feel relaxed, and enjoy the spa serenity experience, rather than feel crowded,” Dimitrov says.
The Spa centre in the Radisson SAS Iveria is available for kids as well.
“In Georgia we are very family-oriented and so we are open from now on for kids from 6 in the morning till 1 in the afternoon. So if you have a kid you can come any day so long as it is before one o’clock in the afternoon,” Dimitrov says.
Spa visitors are able to have lunch in the great Spa “Oxygen” bar on the same floor.
“This bar as you see is really beautiful and works as a cocktail bar after 8 o’clock evening. The bar is very popular. We have lots of guests in our bar at night. You should imagine the beauty of the view from this bar at evening,” Dimitrov says.
According to the Spa’s Director people are always welcome in the bar as well.
“Due to some reason people don’t know that the Spa facilities are open for Tbilisi Residents. Some people even think that only hotel guests are able to come here but that’s not true, it’s not only for hotel guests or members, it’s for everyone. Anyone can enjoy this beautiful facility,” Dimitrov says.
As the Director explains the prices in the spa centre start from 90 GEL and go to 150 GEL per single treatment. They also offer Spa Day Packages which are a great present for a loved one or for a special occasion.
“We are using Anne Semonin Paris products, this is an upscale French brand that has truly luxurious products to offer its customers. Anne Semonin has a chain of spa centres around the world, in the Caribbean, Maldives, Dubai, Greece and France. This is the first Anne Semonin’s SPA centre in the region, the Spa centre offers Classic Aroma Relaxing Massages, Body Treatments, Scrubs and Wraps, Anne Semonin’s Customized Facials, Selected Day Spa Need Packages, waxing, and Hand & Foot Care Treatments,” Dimitrov explains.
“The prices here in comparison with worldwide Anne Semonin prices are pretty acceptable. For example if you go to a spa in Paris they charge you a minimum 40% or more, if you go to Turkey they charge you 30% more so the prices are currently quite acceptable. We do have some clients from France which are our barometer for comparison. They are extremely positive in their comments and enjoy our Spa at every visit. Overall people can enjoy all the Anne Semonin products by buying them here at our spa for good and reasonable prices and using them at home for one’s skin maintenance,” the Spa Director says.
According to Dimitrov, soon they will add one more new facility to their spa centre like a floating spa experience tank. People will be able to lie in very healthy sea salt. They will be able to float on the water and will not sink.
“In the tank people will also listen to music and maybe even go to sleep, it’s time for one’s brain to rest and a person to feel completely relaxed. This facility will also be added to our spa centre’s magnificent list of treatments very soon. I would suggest that people come here and experience our relaxing spa procedures after a hard day of work. At the Radisson SAS Spa one can experience a sense of well-being and relaxation. Guests’ experience tranquillity, in a clean and peaceful environment where time is not an issue, nothing is rushed. Once in the Spa, guests are provided with comfortable spa-wear. A detailed consultation is set to establish each individual’s cause for stress. Our experienced personnel are trained to formulate treatments according to one’s needs, schedule and budget,” Dimitrov says.
