Party of Regions proposes its candidacy for post of Speaker

The FINANCIAL — The Party of Regions faction proposed the candidacy of Oleksander Lavrynovych for the post of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Speaker.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Party of Regions faction top deputy head Oleksander Yefremov disclosed this to journalists on December 8.

Besides, according to him, the Party of Regions faction asked its colleagues to support this candidacy in order to lift the blockade from the parliament’s work. According to O.Yefremov, “if they want to kick off the work of the Verkhovna Rada, the necessary votes to support the candidacy of O.Lavrynovych will be found”.
