The Paul Rodriguez VI is the latest signature shoe in Nike Skateboarding’s collection. Since his first shoe in 2005, each sneaker in the Paul Rodriguez lineage has been tailor-made with the latest innovation and infused with insights from Paul himself to create the ultimate modern skateboarding shoe.
The Paul Rodriguez VI contains the lightweight cushioning of Lunarlon that keeps skaters feet protected from impact without sacrificing any of the direct connection with the board. According to Nike, the shoes upper has extremely durable suede with TPU backing making for an upper that lasts, while the custom Diamond Flex grooves in the outsole enhance both traction and overall flexibility for unequaled skateboarding performance.
On the same day that his signature shoe hits stores, Paul clamied the gold in the XGames Skateboard Street competion with a best score of 86.00. This is his fourth XGames gold medal.
The Nike Paul Rodgriuez VI retails for $90 USD and is sold in multiple colorways. Available at select retailers and skate shops beginning July 1.
