The FINANCIAL — Pay2Home is now the first fully authorised online money transfer company to provide a service from Singapore.
The company, set up to provide remittance services via its shops in Singapore, now offers online money transfers to more than 40 different destinations worldwide including Australia, the U.K, Europe, New Zealand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Hong Kong and they are adding to these destinations all the time.
"The new site – Pay2home.com, which has been created to complement Pay2Home’s current retail offering, offers the new functionality to create transactions online; customers are able to send money from the comfort of their arm chair without ever having to visit a bank or remittance branch," Pay2Home informs.
Funds can be transferred from one account and credited to another swiftly and securely. Customers pay a single, flat fee per transaction regardless of how much they send – there are no hidden charges and no deductions by banks in the destination country.
“Customers have had to use unlicensed transfer companies or offshore remittance companies with inflated rates for too long, said David Hulme, Director and Co-Founder of Pay2Home who has also recently secured the company’s third branch license in Singapore.
“We wanted to shake up the market and offer a more attractive product to customers. Our costs are lower than other remittance companies so we can offer excellent value for money without compromising on great service.”
The site is convenient, easy to use and secure and features innovative functionality and added security measures including dual factor authentication.
“We understand that security is a top priority to our customers, that’s why our systems maintain the highest internet banking standards, explains Wayne Salamonsen, Director and Co-Founder of Pay2Home.
“Access to Pay2Home Online is encrypted using proprietary technology and we use dual factor authentication on the site where extra security is required to protect our customer’s accounts.”
The launch supports the company’s initiative to provide expats, small businesses, students studying abroad and migrant workers a flexible way to send money to any bank account; either online, via one of their shops or, for larger accounts, using their concierge service.
