The FINANCIAL — Pegasus has won a Bronze Mixx in the Search Marketing category for its “Google Customer Match” campaign with digital agency Hype in the MIXX awards organised by IAB, having previously won a Gold MIXX during the Turkish leg of the competition earlier this year.
The Bronze Mixx is Pegasus’ first international award in the field of digital marketing, given for its use of the Customer Match function via Google Adwords which saw a 52% increase in the click-through rate, a 13% decrease in cost per action, a 32% increase in clicks and a 12% increase in pay per action, according to Pegasus.
In Pegasus’ campaign called ‘To be or not to be’, adverts that were shown in response to keyword searches via Google were personalised based on the profile of the user. By defining existing and potential customers, the campaign automatically presented personalised recommendations and different bidding strategies based on their profiles and resulted in both increased sales for Pegasus and reduced costs per ticket.
