The FINANCIAL — Royal Philips Electronics NV is in advanced talks to sell the High Tech Campus in the Dutch town of Eindhoven in a EUR450 million deal to a private investor, Dutch paper De Telegraaf reports Monday, citing unnamed sources.
According to Borsa Italiana – London Stock Exchange Group, on the High Tech Campus in the south of the Netherlands work around 8,000 employees for 100 different companies, including Philips, NXP Semiconductors NV and ASML Holding NV.
Philips is about to sell the real estate to private investor Marcel Boekhoorn, according to the report.
If the deal goes through it would be the biggest real estate transaction in the Netherlands ever, the paper writes.
Philips declined to comment, and Boekhoorn couldn't be reached for comment.
