The FINANCIAL — Activity in Poland’s manufacturing sector was unchanged in December from the previous month, with business conditions for the sector continuing to improve, Markit Economics said on January 4, according to Nasdaq.
A survey of 300 industrial companies showed the manufacturing purchasing managers’ index at 52.1 in December.
“The current upturn in the sector now extends to 15 months,” Markit said.
“The main positives were stronger growth of output and employment,” said Trevor Balchin, senior economist at Markit. ” New order growth disappointed, however, raising a question mark over the performance of the sector at the start of 2016.”
