The FINANCIAL — Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Jacek Kluczkowski considers that the political crisis in Ukraine does not affect the preparations for euro 2012, he told the Ukrainian News agency.
He said that the state structures work efficiently.
At the same time, he said that if the government had had considerable support at the Verkhovna Rada, legislative amendments linked to the preparations to Euro 2012 would have been easier.
The ambassador also said that the November 2008 liquidation of the National agency and the creation of the Coordination bureau for the preparation for Euro 2012 was only an improvement of the responsible structures.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in February, Secretary General of the UEFA David Taylor said that the political crisis in Ukraine did not affect the preparations for Euro 2012.
